Cornucopia of Death – RARE Underground Thrash Metal / PUNK Cassette (1990)

This is the first self-titled cassette tape release from Evansville, Indiana independent thrash-punk band, Cornucopia of Death. Although this band had a respectable underground following regionally, this is a very rare release that never made it to CD. The band is most well known today for being an early band of drummer Jeremy Spencer Heyde (founding member of Five Finger Death Punch). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Spencer_(drummer)
Jeremy joined the band for their second release “Nip It In the Bud”, where one of their highlights was opening an Indianapolis show for then little-known Pantera. Their songs are marked by rapidfire thrash riffage, frequent time changes, and punky, irreverent, comedic lyrics.
